About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our local market-leading engineering company in London. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the meticulous completion of all documentation related to letter of credits, bank collections, bank guarantees, and financial documentation requirements. A strong sense of ownership over bookings and associated paperwork is essential.

Main Duties:
– Maintain meticulous records and files.
– Manage bookings and related paperwork.
– Plan and oversee inbound and outbound full load shipments weekly.
– Coordinate inward and outward groupage loads on a weekly basis.
– Arrange ferry bookings as needed.
– Generate comprehensive documentation for all loads.
– Maintain daily communication with subcontractors and management.
– Produce necessary reports as required.
